A glossary of big spenders

Barnaby Joyce

Feb 24, 2016

Barnaby Joyce is a rowdy cowboy with a taste for waste.

He was part of a delegation that tucked into more than $11,000 worth of grub and booze at a four day meeting.

Joyce spent more than $670,000 setting up offices, including a politically motivated Armidale Ministerial office to expand his presence in his massive New England Electorate – at a cost to stakeholders used to presenting at capital cities.

Perhaps he should have studied a little harder from a book he bought, Learning To Be a Minister (heroic expectations, practical realities).
